Database Description

The Journal of Commerce provides the complete text of all news, columns, editorials, briefs, calendar listings, and selected tables appearing in the Five-Star edition of the world's premier weekly transportation magazine covering international trade, logistics, and transportation issues. It also includes the Six-Star news summary.

The Journal of Commerce features special individual sections focusing on ocean, barge, air, rail, and truck transportation, among other topics chosen by the editorial staff. The online edition, available at joc.com, also includes a summary of every major story for each day, keeping a constant measure on the pulse of the industry. Reports are filed daily from throughout the U.S. and around the world with the help of 4 U.S. news bureaus and other bureaus around the world.
