Database Description

AP (Associated Press) News provides the full text of Associated Press coverage of national and international news, including business, sports and financial information. AP News is available 24 hours after the data are transmitted on its high-speed DataStream service. All words within the text are searchable, thus providing access to any subject that has been in the news.

AP News is contained in two databases: Files 258 and 858. File 258 contains current data beginning in January 2000. File 858 contains archive data spanning from July 1984 through December 1999. OneSearch category APNEWS may be used to begin both files simultaneously; i.e., BEGIN APNEWS.
