Licensee hereby waives, to the extent permitted by law, any claim for damages, injunctive relief, declaratory judgment and any other remedy pursuant to any statute, law, regulation or common law of the United States of any state, arising from such termination by Thomson CompuMark, and Licensee agrees to indemnify Thomson Compumark for any damages, costs, or expenses incurred by Thomson Mark (including reasonable attorney's fees) by reason of Licensee's assertion of any such claim.

Thomson CompuMark's Terms and Conditions are in addition to those found in Dialog's Standard Service Agreement. If there is a conflict between these terms and conditions and those in Dialog's Standard Service Agreement, Thomson CompuMark's Terms and Conditions will apply.

¹ Use the Basic Index to search complete words, compound words, or word beginnings, e.g., S KEY?. Use the rotated index TR= to search word fragments, or word endings, e.g., TR=MAIL?. Since punctuation is stripped for trademark searching, use the AND operator instead of the (W) operator for the most comprehensive retrieval. Search compound words as the whole word and as its parts, e.g., S KEYMAIL? OR (KEY AND MAIL?).

² Since trademarks are not cross-referenced, for the most comprehensive retrieval, alternative spellings should be SELECTed either in the Basic Index, e.g., SELECT HARBOR OR HARBOUR OR HAVRE or in the Rotated Trademark index, e.g., SELECT TR=(HARBOR? OR HARBOUR? OR HAVRE?).

⁶ Most records have images. Since text is transliterated, the image will contain the orignal Korean graphical representation of the mark along with any designs.

⁷ Records containing trademark images can be located by including RT=IMAGE in the search. Images display in Formats 15 and 19 when searches are conducted using DialogLink 5, Dialog Classic on the Web, or DialogWeb. Depending on the trademark, images may be in color or black and white.

⁸ When searching word fragments in the Rotated Trademark index (TR=), use the @ character to indicate the end of a word, e.g., TR=MAIL@. To retrieve an embedded fragment, use the question mark, e.g., S TR=AIL?. Multiple TR= fragments can be combined with AND for the most comprehensive retrieval.

⁹ National Class (NC=) pertains to the national classification previously sed in South Korea. International Classes apply as of March 1, 1998, but all marks have harmonized International Classes derived from National Classes.
