KOMPASS Central/Eastern Europe provides business information for over 529,600 companies located in the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova - Republic Of, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.

The emphasis of the file is on manufacturing, industrial, and associated service sectors. The file uses the Kompass WF.12 detailed classification system consisting of product and service descriptions and corresponding codes. See the Related Search Aids section for more information. Product names are searchable and displayable in the file in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. Foreign trade status at the product level provides key import and export information. The database is useful for locating business opportunities for distributors, importers, and exporters, as well as manufacturers and suppliers.
