Kompass Asia/Pacific provides business information for over 323,600 companies located in twelve countries, with an emphasis on manufacturing, industrial, and associated service sectors. The file uses the Kompass WF.11 detailed classification system consisting of product and service descriptions and corresponding codes. See the Related Search Aids section for more information. Product names are searchable and displayable in the file in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. Most records provide standard business information, including names of key executives, directors, and managers along with their positions.

Data on over 24,000 Japanese companies is also available in File 592.

The information in Kompass Asia/Pacific includes data contained in the Kompass directories in the following countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea (Republic of), Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan (Province of China), and Thailand.
