Corporate Affiliations, a database produced by LexisNexis Group, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc., contains business profiles and corporate linkage ("who owns whom") for approximately 184,000 public and private companies worldwide.

Each record includes the name, address, telephone number, sales,number of employees, SIC codes, business description, executive names, director names, corporate family hierarchy, ticker symbol, stock exchanges, net worth, total assets, and total liabilities, where available.

Subject Coverage [top]

The Corporate Affiliations database covers over 184,000 U.S. and non-U.S. companies in manufacturing, distribution, and service areas. This includes private as well as public companies, both parents and affiliates (subsidiatries and major divisions). All major domestic and international stock exchange listed companies (except investment instuments) are profiled.

U.S. privately held companies with annual sales in excess of $10 million and foreign privately held companies with annual sales in excess of $50 million are profiled.

⁵ Numeric entries are indexed as complete numbers, rounded down to the two left-most digits. Use numeric operators (:,>,<,=,etc.) to search a range of values, e.g., S SA>5B to find companies with sales over 5 billion.

⁶ Retrieves affiliate companies that report directly to the immediate parent. The immediate parent can be the ultimate parent or another affilate.

⁷ The first six digits of the LNG Enterprise number are also indexed with the NO=prefix. Searching on the six-digit number retrieves all companies in the corporate family, both parent and affiliate.

⁸ SIC codes are 1987 U.S. Codes.
