IMS Patent Focus details the evaluated product (or equivalent process) patent position for more than 3,000 commercially significant pharmaceutical compounds, both marketed or in Phase III (or above) clinical trials. File 447 provides the estimated patent expiry dates and the possibility of extension.

File 447 is publicly available; File 947 is available only to subscribers of the electronic or equivalent product from IMS.

Chemical Structure Searching (CSS) is available in this file using DialogLink™ 5 and a chemical strucutre drawing package. For additional information about CSS, please see http://www.dialog.com/products/dialoglink/css.shtml.
