	`Novartis Vaccines has started shipping its seasonal influenza vaccine to US`
	`customers for the 2010-2011 season. The company plans to supply the US`
	`market with approximately 40 million doses of Fluvirin flu virus vaccine,`
	`which has been approved by the FDA for patients aged four years and older.`
	`The product will be available to healthcare professionals in both prefilled`
	`syringes and multi-dose vials.`
	`The 2010-2011 season is the first for which the US Centers for Disease`
	`Control and Prevention has recommend flu vaccination for all people aged`
	`six months of age and older, rather than just high-risk individuals.`
	`Fluvirin vaccine contains antigens to the three flu virus strains for this`
	`year's vaccine recommended by the World Health Organization:`
	`A/California/7/2009 (H1N1)-like virus;`
	`A/Perth/16/2009 (H3N2)-like virus; and`
	`B/Brisbane/60/2008-like virus.`
