Directory of Chemical Producers - Companies produced by SRI Consulting, a part of IHS Global Inc, is a database of international manufacturers of commercial chemical products. Data correspond to the companies section of SRI Consulting's printed Directory of Chemical Producers (DCP) with the important advantage of full multi-region searchability.

Published continuously since 1961, the DCP program is considered the preeminent source for timely and accurate coverage of the international chemical industry. DCP - Companies in combination with DCP - Products (File 363) contains the entire contents from the more than 6,500 pages published in the directories. The regional directories are each updated annually, based on data developed from comprehensive surveys sent to producing companies. Data are researched and analyzed by a team of professional researchers dedicated to maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of information in the DCP by constantly monitoring information through direct company contact as well as literature review. The program also benefits from information developed for other SRI Consulting marketing research studies.

DCP - Companies provides current, comprehensive information on basic chemical manufacturers and their products including detailed data on ownership, divisions, plants, former names and affiliations, and present chemical activities listed by plant location.

The database currently consists of 9 regional directories covering more than 13,000 companies worldwide that operate more than 18,000 plants producing more than 21,000 different commercial chemical products. More than 90 countries are included in the following regional designations: Canada; China; East Asia; Europe; India; Mexico; Middle East & Africa; South & Central America; United States.

Access to and use of SRI Consulting's ("SRI-C") Databases is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing the Databases, User agrees that it has the authority to accept these Terms and Conditions, that it has read the Terms and Conditions, understands them and agrees to be bound by them. SRI-C, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to limit access to the subscriber Databases to Users who are current subscribers to the corresponding publications.

These Terms and Conditions are in addition to those found in the Dialog User Agreement. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Dialog User Agreement, then these Terms and Conditions will apply. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the State of California, without giving effect to its conflicts of laws provisions.

All material in this database is copyrighted by IHS Global Inc ("IHS"). Any reproduction of the material without the prior written permission of either IHS or SRI-C, a part of IHS Global Inc, is prohibited.

User agrees that it will not commit or permit any acts or omissions by its agents, employees, or any third parties which would impair IHS's copyrights or other proprietary rights in the Databases.

The information in the Databases may not be sold, reproduced, revealed or made available in whole or in part to any third party without the prior written consent of IHS unless required by valid subpoena or court order. If User participates in the Dialog Electronic Redistribution and Archiving Program, User may make and internally distribute and archive for internal use only the number of copies permitted thereby. User must include the following notice on each copy: "For Internal Use Only; Copyright (YEAR) IHS Global Inc".

THE DATABASES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. NEITHER IHS NOR SRI-C WARRANTS, GUARANTEES, OR MAKES ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE DATABASES IN TERMS OF THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, CURRENTNESS, OR OTHER ASPECTS OF THEIR CONTENTS. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE USE OF THE DATABASES IS ASSUMED BY USER.

IHS's and SRI-C's entire liability and User's exclusive remedy regarding the Databases shall be at SRI's and SRI-C's option either to (a) return payment made for the use of the Database(s), or (b) correction of the Database(s).

THE ABOVE ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, THAT ARE MADE BY IHS OR SRI-C RELATING TO THE DATABASES. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY IHS, SRI-C OR Dialog OR ANY OF THEIR EMPLOYEES SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY OR INCREASE THE SCOPE OF THE WITHIN WARRANTY, AND USER MAY NOT RELY ON ANY SUCH INFORMATION OR ADVICE. NEITHER IHS NOR SRI-C SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE DATABASES EVEN IF IHS OR SRI-C HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

User agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless IHS and SRI-C from any claim or cause of action against them arising out of or relating to use of the Databases by individuals or entities which have not been authorized to have access to and/or use the Databases. User understands that it is the beneficiary of a contract between SRI-C and Dialog and that, under the contract, SRI-C may terminate User's access to the Databases at any time if User breaches any of the terms contained herein.
