Directory of Chemical Producers - Products produced by SRI Consulting,a part of IHS Global Inc, is a database of commercial chemical products and their international manufacturers. Data correspond to the products section of SRI Consulting's printed Directory of Chemical Producers (DCP) with the advantage of full multi-region searchability.
Published continuously since 1961, the DCP program is considered the preeminent source for timely and accurate coverage of the international chemical industry. DCP - Products in combination with DCP - Companies (File 364) contains the entire contents from the more than 6,500 pages published in the directories. The regional directories are each updated annually, based on data from comprehensive surveys sent to producing companies. Data are researched and analyzed by a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of information in the DCP by constantly monitoring information through direct company contact as well as literature review. The program also benefits from information developed for other SRI Consulting marketing research studies.

DCP - Products provides an up-to-date producer listing of more than 21,000 products, representing virtually all commercial chemicals and polymers produced--with producers and plant locations for each, plant-by-plant nameplate capacity data for selected products, and extensive cross references for quick location of chemicals with alternate names. Many of the products are organized into functional or chemical groups to assist in surveying classes of related products.
The database currently consists of 9 regional directories covering more than 13,000 companies worldwide that operate more than 18,000 plants. More than 90 countries are included in the following regional designations: Canada, China, East Asia, Europe, India, Mexico, Middle East & Africa, South & Central America, United States.
