Healthcare Organizations, published by Medical Economics Company, consists of three subfiles, searchable in the FS= field: Directory of Healthcare Group Purchasing OrganizationsTM, Directory of Hospital PersonnelTM, and HMO/PPO DirectoryTM. Healthcare Organizations and its companion file, Medical Device Register (DIALOG File 167), make up a part of the Medical Device Register family of reference products.
Directory of Healthcare Group Purchasing Organizations (HGPO) provides in-depth information on more than 500 group purchasing organizations, which together negotiate over 65% of all healthcare products purchased by hospitals.
Directory of Hospital Personnel (DHP) provides in-depth information on nearly 7,000 hospitals and infirmaries located in the United States.
HMO/PPO Directory (HMO) is a comprehensive reference work that provides information about nearly 2,000 U.S. health maintenance organizations and preferred provider organizations with the key administrative personnel those organizations employ.
Each subfile in the Healthcare Organizations database will be reloaded annually. Every name, fact and figure has been verified to be up to date and accurate at the time of publication.
