EventLineTM is a comprehensive database providing listings of conferences, meetings, and events globally. The focus of Eventline is in the domain of medicine, biotechnology, and the sciences and includes the details relating to conventions, symposia, exhibitions, and trade fairs. Information for both past and forthcoming events can be found in the database. EventLine can be used to find dates and locations of vital meetings, to plan a marketing strategy, assist in travel planning, compile statistics on trends in meetings, and much more. Information on past events is retained in EventLine for retrospective searching.

The information regarding events in EventLine is compiled by Excerpta Medica and Elsevier teams. The information in the database comes primarily from original announcements and data researched by Elsevier. All of the publications from the Elsevier Publishing Group (25 collection points worldwide) are the sources of information for EventLine. Extensive use of the input from the Excerpta Medica Embase operation is also a significant portion of the database, specifically the medical events.

Extensive use of the input from the Excerpta Medica Embase operation is also a significant portion of the database, specifically the medical events. Research done by freelance suppliers is an additional source of information.
