European Research & Development Database provides extensive coverage of commercial research activities as well as publicly-funded and academic research.

Over 21,000 organizations are included, from large multinational organizations to small, fast-emerging operations at the leading edge of current research. Organizations are classified by one of five key areas: business enterprise, government, higher education, consultancy, private non-profit.

Separate profiles are available for professionals currently engaged in research. Detailed biographies give information on the career history of over 85,000 heads of organizations, senior researchers, research directors, and managers.

The European Research & Development Database is the equivalent of European Research & Development and Who's Who in European Research. Every research organization and researcher has been contacted by Bowker-Saur to update and amend these entries. Over 660 subject fields and 39 countries, including those of the former Soviet Union are covered.

The Subscriber acknowledges that the database should not be relied on as the sole source of information when purchasing decisions or analytical research conclusions are being made. RRP and Bowker-Saur further warrant that use of the information contained in the Database by the Subscriber as contemplated hereby will not violate the proprietary rights of any third party.

THE WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS SET OUT ABOVE ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, THAT ARE MADE BY RRP.
