The database corresponds to the printed publication: World Surface Coatings Abstracts. Each year approximately 8,000 new records are added to the file with intensive coverage of patents, conference proceedings, books, legislation, reports, journal articles, and standards in the fields of paint and surface coating technology and related subjects.

     governing release mechanism was found to be Fickian 
     diffusion. The extent of fouling was evaluated for a 
     number of marine fouling species found at Taylor's 
     Creek, Beaufort, North Carolina,and Pearl Harbour, Oahu 
     Hawaii. The antifoulant was a chlorinated isothiazolone
